Taking Strong Action to Garner State Funding for Flooding Issues

I joined Gov. Tom Wolf in announcing my support for the Restore PA initiative that would devote $75 million in state dollars to Columbia County for help with flooding issues. A floodwall on the west end of Bloomsburg would be funded with $60 million and $15 million would be devoted to flood mitigation measures along both branches of Fishing Creek. I believe the governor deserves bipartisan support for an approach that will help all 67 Pennsylvania counties to move ahead with sorely needed infrastructure issues. This measure is one that I can see working to finally get Columbia County the funding we need for these projects. The video is of my comments with the governor at a press event today at the fairgrounds.
