Millard to Hold Concealed Weapons Event
BLOOMSBURG – Rep. David Millard (R-Berwick) will be sponsoring a concealed weapons educational event to give residents an opportunity to learn more about Pennsylvania’s concealed carry laws and how the state’s Castle Doctrine affects their rights as gun owners.

The concealed weapons event will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 14, starting at 6 p.m. at the Lighthouse of Lightstreet United Methodist Church, located at 1640 Main St., Lightstreet.

“This event will give law-abiding and carrying citizens of the 109th a chance to learn about their rights as gun owners,” Millard said. “These events are always popular and spots fill up quickly, so be sure to RSVP today.”

During the event, Columbia County District Attorney Thomas E. Leipold will discuss concealed carry laws and Columbia County Sheriff Timothy Chamberlain will discuss how to safely interact with the police while you are carrying.

The event is free, but space is limited. RSVPs are required to attend. To RSVP, residents should call Millard’s district office at 570-387-0246, or sign up online at
