Millard to Host Open House at New Bloomsburg Office
BLOOMSBURG – State Rep. David Millard (R-Millville) will host an open house for local residents at his new Bloomsburg office location from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 20. His new office is in the Bloomsburg Regional Tech Center, 240 Market St. in Bloomsburg.

“After flood waters damaged our previous facility, we were fortunate to find a wonderful, new location from which to serve Bloomsburg area constituents,” Millard said. “I hope many residents will have an opportunity to drop into the open house to get a special tour.”

Along with showcasing the new office, the evening will also serve as a public reception for new artwork that will be on loan to Millard’s three legislative offices.

“Artwork from members of the North Mountain Art League has brought beauty to the walls of my three legislative offices for a number of years now,” Millard said. “Visitors to my offices often comment on how much they enjoy the opportunity to see our local artisans’ talent.”

Millard has displayed artwork from local artists since 2004. Their artwork will be on display in Millard’s Bloomsburg, Berwick and capitol offices during the next several weeks.

There is no charge to attend the reception. Light refreshments will be served. For more information, call Millard’s office at (570) 387-0246. The lawmaker also has a local office at 904B Orange St. in Berwick (telephone (570)759-8734.)
